Owner Hap Stern was already pushing the envelope by dropping a Big Block 572 into his '71 Corvette Stingray. Now it was time to send it right over the edge. This is when RPM installed a custom fuel injection system modified to fit this very special application. A slightly altered Hogan sheet metal intake was used along with an accufab throttle body and 42 lb. injectors. The brains behind the scene was an XFI computer and wiring harness from F.A.S.T. We finished the project off by designing and hand fabricating a custom fresh air intake that reads Stingray ZZ-572.
