Riley Performance Motorcars Generates Excitement as they Releases the First Shelby GT500SE
The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company recorded more than $20 million in total sales and delivered its trademark excitement during the 7th Annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Auction April 9-11, 2009. The collector car hobby is growing and Barrett-Jackson is the catalyst, so this was the perfect venue for Riley Performance Motorcars.
Carroll Shelby was in attendance because the first retail Ford Shelby GT500 was auctioned. It sold for $150,000 to benefit the Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation.
RPM’s booth at the Barrett-Jackson, Palm Beach, FL was a great success, where we unveiled the new and first Shelby GT500SE continuation car. It was very exciting to show our quality craftsmanship of the new release while receiving a great response from the crowd and customers. Carroll Shelby was also present to autograph the hood and take a group photo with the Riley Performance team. This was a great experience for us and we look forward to displaying our work at the Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas, October 8-10, 2009. Hope to see you there!
